Before founding Style Me Up Digital, I spent 16 years managing the day-to-day operations of my wife's hair salon. Not in an advisory role — I was in the trenches. I handled the local SEO, managed the Google Business Profile, built and maintained the website, ran Google Ads campaigns, set up marketing automations, and made sure we showed up where it mattered most online.
But my responsibilities went far beyond marketing. I managed operations and logistics, handled the bookkeeping and payroll, provided tech support for the team, and yes — even answered the phones when needed. I wore every hat there was to wear.
Through that experience, I saw firsthand how underserved the hair salon industry is when it comes to professional digital marketing.
